The Brushy Mountain Cyclists Club promotes cycling in Northwest North Carolina through rides, meetings, trail building and special events. Our next event on November 21, 2009 will be building trails at Warrior Creek. FOR MORE INFO GO TO:

Drive West on NC-268 approximately 8 miles and turn right at the sign for Warrior Creek Campground, just after the bridge and view of the lake. The crew will be meet and disperse from the campground parking lot.

WHEN? Saturday, November 21, 2009 starting at 9:00am and finishing around noon. Bring your lunch and then ride the trail with the other volunteers. Our next trail Trail Work Day will be December 12...SAVE THE DAY!

WHY? The Army Corps of Engineers is the steward for the 3,754 acres included in the Kerr Scott Reservoir project lands. Part of its mission is to develop recreation facilities on the property for public use. BMCC and the Army Corps have a unique partnership and are creating one of the finest trail systems in the country. So far we have approximately 30 miles and have done some great work!

THERE IS A LOT MORE TRAIL TO BUILD AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!
